Hi my name is Barney. I like my new home, the other dogs, and guess what I even like kids. I am so happy I have a place to stay. My foster family is very nice. I am fun, I like to play with Bongo (another foster dog) and I am trying very hard to learn what that "outside go potty" means. I am fun loving and a happy guy. I am three years old and 8 pounds. This is Little Bit, a 10 week old pup whose mother was a beagle mix. We think her dad is a border collie. We first met Little Bit when she and her litter mates were one day old and in a local shelter with their mom. Little Bit is now spayed, microchipped and up to date with shots. And, of course, she is ready for a home. We think she will be a medium-sized dog when full grown.

Meet Jay! This handsome boy came to us from a rural shelter where his previous owners had just left him outside the shelter to be taken in. He is now LOVING life in his foster home! Jay is a pretty good puppy- and already is almost crate trained and housetrained. Jay is great with other dogs, just a little rambunctious - and shows zero interest in cats. Jay looks almost all Boxer except for his wide nose and tail - maybe some Bulldog? He is 5 months old and weighs a solid 35 pounds now, so as an adult we expect him to be in the 65-80 pound range. Jay is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated and is otherwise healthy except for a skin problem that he is currently on medicine for and getting special baths every week and will be cleared up soon!)

Meet Chance, our resident miracle boy! Along with his brother, he was turned into a local shelter when his former family was moving and decided they could no longer keep them. When the shelter was full, they (along with several other dogs) were brought to the vet to be euthanized. Chance was last on the list to be put to sleep that day but the staff ran out of time and decided to do it when they came back the next morning. Fortunately his guardian angel came for him just in time! He now lives in a foster home and is loving the good life! Chance is great with other dogs, and completely ignores the cat in the house. He loves people (all ages) and loves to smooch everyone! He is also housebroken and crate trained. Chance is completely vetted and current on everything for one year. He is 2 years old and weighs about 50#s at his healthy adult weight.
